I draw on a range of different psychotherapy and counselling models.

I trained in Transactional Analysis which explores an individual's personality and how this has been shaped by their experiences, particularly those in childhood. This type of therapy aims to be non-judgemental, secure and respectful; where the relationship between the therapist and the client is at the heart of the work.

As a Relational Therapist, I will try to understand your unique self-experience. Together, we will work on creating a new in-depth relationship, which aims to be supportive, strengthening and enlivening. Transactional Analysis Therapy is suitable for both long and short-term counselling.

Part of the appeal of TA therapy is that it promotes an equal relationship between client and therapist, in which the client is focused on their commitment to change.

I believe that therapy can help people to recognise their self-worth in order to achieve their full potential. I have always believed that mental health is as important as physical health and needs to be nutured.
